Usually I don’t make empties post every month because I don’t go through my beauty products that quickly but lately I’ve had a lot of almost empty skincare and haircare products. Now that they are finished, I’m able to share my thoughts on them and decide if I will buy them again in the future.
Skincare And Make Up Products Empties
Garnier SkinActive Micellar Milky Cleansing Water
My first micellar water ever was the original Garnier Micellar Water. I liked how it took off my make up and dirt off of my face, it was easy to use, so I figured that I would like to try the new Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water.
I didn’t enjoy it as much as original Garnier Micellar Water. I used it up but whenever I had a chance, I’d use other products in my collection. Don’t get me wrong, Garnier Micellar Milky Cleansing Water does its job, but it has thicker milky consistency (wow, really? 😅) and I just prefer regular micellar water over it.
Would I rebuy it? No, I will stick to original version.
Perfecta Cleansing Gel
I bought this cleansing gel from Perfecta on my holidays a year ago. It took me a year of inconsistent use to finish it up but last month I focused on washing my face with it so I can move on to my Ecooking face cleansing gel that I talked about in Goodiebox made me buy it post, where I talked about products I received in my subscription boxes that I loved so much I purchased them with my own money.
I’m not saying this Perfecta cleansing gel was bad. I actually enjoyed it – it has nice subtle scent that does wash off and it made my face feeling soft and clean. But I feel that almost a year of having it in my bathroom is just a bit too long and I knew it was because I wasn’t using it as frequently as I should have.
Would I rebuy it? Probably, if I had a chance, since it is not available in country I live in.
Dr Botanicals Cocoa Noir Time Reverse Facial Serum
My first impression of this Dr Botanicals Cocoa Noir Time Reverse Facial Serum wasn’t the best. I wasn’t super excited to try this product when I finished up my previous serum but now I’m kind of sad that it’s already gone. It has a slight scent of cocoa and I think that was the reason why I wasn’t impressed by it right away (just personal preference) but I got used to it.
I used it with couple different face creams and never had any problems with combining it with different products.
Would I rebuy it? Yes.
Wibo Rice Powder
Couple years ago I used Wibo Rice Powder every time I did my make up. I’d put it on top of liquid foundation. It’s affordable and works well. Since I stopped using liquid foundations, it was just sitting in my drawer. Lately I discovered I still have it and I’m pretty sure I bought it in 2018 because I remember looking at “the best product” sticker and thinking “already? It just started!”.
It clumped a bit over time but I crushed crystals into fine powder again and used it to take away the shin of my face cream. It still worked well and didn’t give me any trouble.
I’m glad that it’s gone now and that I could use it up. Don’t get me wrong, it’s a good product but since I changed the way I do my make up, I wasn’t reaching for it at all. But if I needed a powder to set my liquid foundation, I would definitely reach for Wibo Rice Powder.
Would I rebuy it? No.
Karmameju SPF 15 Body Lotion
To be honest, I didn’t like this Karmameju SPF 15 Body Lotion and I don’t really understand the point of this product. Even though it contains vitamin E, aloe vera, shea butter, jojoba oil and almond oil, it wasn’t moisturising. My skin felt soft as it promised but I expect more from body lotions. And SPF 15 is pretty low for sun protection, so I don’t think this lotion is good for sun exposure for that reason.
Would I rebuy it? No 👎🏻
Youth Lab Candy Scrub & Mask
At first I really liked the sweet smell of this mask but while using it I noticed that it is really hard to take off every little bit of it. I would wash it off and then feel little scrub bits on my face hours later. That’s why I didn’t use it as frequently as my other masks. It was just pain to take off, even though I enjoyed the very smooth way my skin felt afterwards.
Would I rebuy it? No.
Lavish Care Rescue Me Nourishing Hair Mask
I’m not sure if this Lavish Care Rescue Me Hair Mask did that much more for my hair than my regular hair conditioner but I enjoyed using it. It left my hair with silky feeling. It contains vitamin E and keratin amino acids.
Even though I liked this product, I don’t do hair masks often because you have to leave them longer in your hair than standard hair conditioner.
Would I rebuy it? Probably not, only because I’m not frequent hair mask user.
Wow, I managed to finish up 7 products this month! 👏🏻 Usually I don’t go through my beauty products fast, even though I stick to one open product per category. Stay tuned for more empties posts 🙂
