I feel good about this month’s empties. I used up completely 12 products since last empties update. Most of it is of course skincare but I’ve also finished some haircare and make up products.
We Love The Planet Sweet & Soft Deodorant
This is my second finished natural deodorant from We Love The Planet. I fell in love with those natural deodorants in a tin when I received my first one in a Goodiebox subscription box. This one I purchased myself and I talked about it in Goodiebox Made Me Buy It.
It has a subtle sweet scent, melts like butter into the skin and it’s baking soda free. I’ve heard people complaining about this kind of deodorants because they had bad reaction to baking soda. Fortunately We Love The Planet has many options for different needs.
At first I was skeptical about this product, but like I said, I fell in love with it. After I apply it on my armpits, it melts into the skin instantly. The smell is subtle and it’s not overwhelming, so it doesn’t clash with parfume or other scented products. And, last but not least, it keeps my armpits sweat under control throughout the day. It works just like any other traditional deodorant – my armpits doesn’t get smelly, even though I do physical work. I’m going to definitely repurchase this product in the future!
Would I rebuy it? Yes 🤘🏻
Evoluderm Pluie de Coco Detox Body Jelly
I don’t like coconut – doesn’t matter if it is in my food or in my cosmetics – but for some reason I loved this Evoluderm Pluie de Coco Detox Body Jelly from my Goodiebox subscription box. It has a nice smell, not too coconuty, and it went well with other fragranced products I use.
It absorbs pretty fast, compared to some other body lotions. My skin felt soft and moisturized after using this product. At first I felt like it will take me forever to finish this 200 ml tube of Evoluderm Pluie de Coco Detox Body Jelly, because I was using teeny tiny amounts of it each time, but I went through it very fast.
I’m positively surprised about this product.
Would I rebuy it? Probably, but I have other lotions I like even more.
Naobay Natural & Organic Origin Recovery Mask
This Naobay Natural & Organic Origin Recovery Mask is a great reminder for me to USE MY PRODUCTS. It’s been sitting in my bathroom for almost 2 years. I always would find an excuse to not use this mask and use another one instead. I had periods of guilt when I would use it twice and quickly switch to other products. Lately it started separating and the texture of it became pasty-overcooked-rice like. So I mixed it up and used for last time, digging every bit that was left in the tube out. So technically I did empty this product and it was still fine on my face but I waited way too long to do that to fully enjoy the experience.
It’s not a bad mask. It feels nice on the face and it has a nice scent to it. I just was more drawn to other products.
Would I rebuy it? No 👎🏻
Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream
I always wonder how it’s possible that so small amount of product can last this long. It’s only 15 ml of an eye cream that lasted me for months of consistent use. I liked how skin around my eyes felt after applying, even though this Balance Me Wonder Eye Cream doesn’t absorb too fast. I think I see long term effects of focusing on moisturising this area, because my fine lines around my eyes seem less visible than they were before. I hope to keep up with those results by using my replacement eye cream daily, and then I decide if I will get another eye cream or listen to Cassandra Bankson saying that ‘eye creams are expensive moisturizers’ 😅
Would I rebuy it? Yes 👍🏻
Naobay Detox Illuminating Micellar Water
Naobay Detox Illuminating Micellar Water is a good micellar water for me. It contains aloe vera, green tea, raspberry, lemon and sage. It had no problem taking off my make up. I also used it to clean up mascara sometimes. It is a good product but not outstanding. I’m not really sure if any micellar water could be considered outstanding though.
Would I rebuy it? Probably, but I have other more affordable options in this category.
Biodermal Day & Night Cream
At first I hated this face cream because it wasn’t the thing I expected when I ordered it from my local drugstore. It is too thick for my taste to be a day cream, so I was using it as a night cream. I prefer lightweight face creams that absorb fast, especially when I have things to do. I’ve grown to like this Biodermal Day & Night Cream but for a meh face cream, it wasn’t worth spending €20 for it.
I’m glad it’s gone and that I can move on to other creams in my collection.
Would I rebuy it? No 👎🏻
Human+kind Body Soufflé
It’s my second finished tube of moisturising Body Soufflé from Human+kind. As I mentioned it in my Goodiebox Made Me Buy It post, I bought it from local beauty buy/sell group on Facebook.
It has a nice scent that is very subtle and doesn’t clash with other scented products/perfumes I use. It absorbs fast and doesn’t leave annoying sticky film on the skin. When I first started using it, I saw significant improvement in condition of my skin. Human+kind products are vegan, cruelty free and available in many countries, so when I’m ready to repurchase, I can easily order it from local store 😀
Would I rebuy it? Yes ❤
Nivea Naturally Good Cotton Flower Sent & Touch of Bio Oil Shower Gel
We bought this shower gel during our trip, as hotel we stayed at didn’t really have a good shower gel in our room. I think that the one available was just watered-down hand soap. So we went out and bought Naturally Good Cotton Flower Sent & Touch of Bio Oil Shower Gel, as it was a compromise between our tastes when it comes to shower products. I really liked it – the smell is not overwhelming and it leaves nice clean feeling on the skin afterwards.
I don’t buy shower gels anymore, as I tend to go through them very fast and I don’t think that creating so much plastic waste each time I use one up is necessary. I use soap bars instead. But if I had to buy a shower gel again, I would definitely repurchase this product.
Would I rebuy it? Only if I had a need for a shower gel.
Beaver The Perfect Hair Oil
As it stands in its name – Beaver The Perfect Hair Oil is a perfect hair oil for me. In the past I tried different brands but they would make my hair look greasy. This hair oil makes my hair feel soft, almost silky, and fresh. This tiny bottle lasts me for couple months and I’m glad that I gave it a shot when it arrived in my Goodiebox subscription.
Would I rebuy it? Yes, I already have a replacement.
Lavish Care Rescue Me Leave In Conditioner
It’s a never ending product! I’ve had it for a long time. It’s the first leave in conditioner that I liked and used every time I washed my hair. I gave up my trusted Garnier Loving Blends conditioner (AND I have plenty of back ups of it!!!) for this Lavish Care Rescue Me Leave In Conditioner. It lasted so long that last 2-3 months I was praying for it to end, so I can start using up my other conditioners.
It worked very well though. My hair felt smooth and were easy to detangle after using this product.
Would I rebuy it? Probably yes 🙂
Herbal Essences Repair Shampoo Argan Oil of Morocco
We bought this 100 ml bottle of Herbal Essences Repair Shampoo Argan Oil of Morocco on our trip last month. Shampoo that was available in hotel we stayed at was too drying for my hair and after using it for 2 days I decided to buy some small bottle that we could finish up before going back home. It wasn’t the case though 😅
I’ve used this shampoo in the past and I think it’s nice but my hair get used to it pretty quickly, that’s why I stopped purchasing it. It was good as a in between boost, so maybe in the future I’ll get some. For now I’m back to using up shampoos at home.
Would I rebuy it? Probably yes 👍🏻
Make Up Empties 🙀🥳
Realher Definer Brow Pencil
Realher Definer Brow Pencil is the first make up product I’ve used up completely in a very long time – actually in couple years. I received it in my Goodiebox subscription box and since trying it out, I do my brows every time I do my make up, which wasn’t the case before. It was very easy to use and I actually thought about buying it again, but I decided that I need to try something else, preferably more affordable than €14 or even €22 + €18 shipping (those are the only options available for me).
Would I rebuy it? Probably not…
Looking at all my products that are currently in use, I don’t expect next empties update to be as reach in products, as this one. 12 products for me is quite some, because I don’t go through cosmetics that fast, even skincare and hygienic products that are generally easier to finish up. I expect next empties update to be a bit shorter than this one.
